The Starr Center was created to promote collaboration and communication for the scientific and medical community, as well as for civic, educational, legal, and corporate groups.
Located in Schepens Eye Research Institute, our non-profit status provides a flexible, caring and affordable alternative to conventional conference centers.
Housed in a former cinema, the Starr Center, fully handicap accessible, is strategically located in downtown Boston just blocks from world-famous educational and medical institutions at Government Center and Beacon Hill. The Starr Center is also 2.5 blocks from local rail and subway connections and only three miles from Logan International Airport. Parking is available in two on-sight facilities provided by Charles River Plaza. A variety of hotels are in the vicinity.

The Starr Center is fully equipped with built-in audio, video and
computer technology including computer hook-ups and internet access. We
work with a variety of outstanding, experienced caterers and, for a
nominal fee, will coordinate their efforts on behalf of our clients.
