"Chris" Bagley is the Administrative Coordinator for the D'Amore Lab and Editor of Eye Contact for the Schepens Eye Research Institute. When not assisting Dr. D'Amore in curing eye disease or writing for the Institute, Chris writes novels and short stories. She is currently enrolled as a MFA candidate in Creative Writing at Lesley University. She is the author of eight short stories, two poems, a novel entitled, The Encounter, and she is a member of the Mystery Writers of America. In 2008, she received the Group Leadership Award from the Schepens Eye Research Institute. She is married to Peter Bagley and lives in Andover, Massachusetts with their cat, Seamus. The mother of two daughters, Shayne Deal of Grafton, and Natalie Jordan of Cambridge, Chris also has a granddaughter, Madeline Rose, a source of tremendous joy to both her and her husband, Peter.
