Outlook Brightens for Fight Against Blinding Eye Diseases
On June 30, 2011, Schepens Eye Research Institute became a part of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Foundation. While we have retained our name and non-profit corporate status, our new alliance offers the benefits of a truly collaborative bench-to-bedside research powerhouse with better external funding and talent recruitment opportunities. All help to speed the pace of discoveries and the translation into treatments and cures for patients.
