Dr. Ksander's current research project, Molecular Solutions to Low Vision Resulting from Battlefield Injuries, will determine the efficacy of using soluble Fas Ligand (sFasL) to prevent and/or treat sight-threatening corneal inflammation and scarring induced by trauma.
