Knatokie Ford is a graduate student in the BBS (Biological and Biomedical Sciences) Program at Harvard Medical School and one of the latest additions to the D’Amore Lab. She is particularly interested in studying the molecular regulation of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) expression in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), and also if there may be a corollary between factors that regulate differentiation of the RPE and VEGF expression.

In her spare time, Knatokie enjoys dancing, watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Even though she has lived in various parts of the United States, Knatokie hopes to soon travel abroad to places such as Paris, Japan, and various parts of Africa.
