Schepens Eye Research Institute, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, has an immediate opening for a Research Assistant to join an active research group in Vision Rehabilitation.  The Institute offers excellent facilities in a great location doing state of the art work that matters.  
We are developing and evaluating novel methods of assisting people with visual impairment to walk, drive and watch television.  Tasks include, but are not limited to: recruiting subjects, developing and implementing experimental protocols, data collection, input and analysis, maintaining databases, administrative management in the lab, and assistance with manuscript, presentation and grant application preparation.  BA or BS in area related to vision science required. 

Good problem solving skills and more than average level of PC experience are required.  Knowledge of experimental psychology, visual psychophysics or statistics is advantageous.
