Subsidized Transit Pass Program

The Institute is conveniently located in downtown Boston, close to Government Center, Downtown Crossing, North Station, and major teaching hospitals such as Mass General Hospital, Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary, and Shriners Burn Institute. We encourage our employees to use public whenever possible. Monthly passes are available for various transit systems. The Institute subsidizes 45% of the employee’s monthly costs for transit passes. These passes are ordered through Human Resources. The employee’s cost can be treated on a pre-tax basis, subject to IRS limits. View this table to see the employee_transit_schedule .pdf
