What attendees had to say about the 2010 symposium:

"I wanted to thank you very much for inviting me to the First Biennial Symposium on AMD. Without a doubt, it was the best AMD meeting I have ever attended. I left there with a wealth of knowledge on the excellent research taking place in this area. Also, I was very pleased that you provided us with ample time for extended group discussions of the different contributions presented. The meeting was a major success thanks to your efforts and thoughtfulness." Nicolas G. Bazan, M.D., Ph.D., Professor and Director, Neuroscience Center of Excellence; Ernest C. and Yvette C. Villere Endowed Chair of Retinal Degenerations; Chair, Research Council, Translational Research Initiative, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans

"Thank you again for the invitation to the First Biennial AMD Symposium. It was a truly outstanding meeting with fantastic scientific exchange, and the best on AMD I ever attended. Thank you so much for organizing such a great symposium and for inviting me to participate"  Frank G. Holz, M.D., F.E.B.O., Professor and Chair, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Bonn
